Nubra Valley Trekking Tour

Nubra-Valley Day 01: Arrive Delhi
You will arrive at Delhi’s International Airport, upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where you will proceed for check-in.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Leh (3500m) (Complete Rest in Leh for acclimatisation)
Early morning breakfast at the hotel. In time you will be transferred to the airport  to board your flight to Leh (9W 609 Jet Airways, dep. 0540 hrs, arrival 0655 hrs) flight is non operational on Saturday’s. Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to get used to the rarefied air of Ladakh. Evening visit the colourful market of Leh. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh
Buffet breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. Visit to Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Then we visit Thiksey Gompa, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa, founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyall. Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompas of Ladakh.
After the visit, you will return to the hotel. Overnight at  hotel.

Day 04: Leh - Sabu Village (3480 mts/11415 ft)
After buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Sabu village. Overnight stay in the village.

Day 05: Sabu Village - Digar La Pass ( 6000 mts )
After breakfast, start the trek to cross Digar La (6000 mts). Then descend down to Digar Village. Overnight stay in the village.

Day 06: Digar Village - Agyam Village
After breakfast start the trek to Agyam. The treks go through along the river Shyok. On arrival set out camp for overnight stay at Agyam village. Overnight stay in the village.

Day 07: Agyam village - Khalsar Village
After breakfast at the tented camp, start the trek up to khalsar village. Overnight in the village.

Day 08: Khalsar Village - Diskit
Breakfast at the tented camp. Start the trek to Sumur. Visit to Samtenling Gompa and continue trek to Diskit. Visit to 350 year old Diskit Gompa. Overnight stay at Diskit. 

Day 09: Diskit - Leh
Breakfast at the tented camp. Later you will be driven to Leh. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at hotel. Evening visit the colourful market of Leh. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 10: Depart Leh - Delhi
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. In time, you will be transferred to the airport  to board your flight for Delhi (9W 610 Jet Airways, dep. 0735 hrs, arrival 0850 hrs) flight is non operational on Saturday’s.  Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to the international airport in time to board your flight back home.

Leh Monastery Tour with Lamayuru Alchi Trek

Lamayuru-Alchi Day 01: Arrive Delhi
You will arrive at Delhi’s International Airport, upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where you will proceed for check-in.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Leh
Early morning breakfast at the hotel. In time you will be transferred to the airport  to board your flight to Leh (9W 609 Jet Airways, dep 0540 hrs, arrival 0655 hrs) flight is non operational on Saturday’s. Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to get used to the rarefied air of Ladakh. Evening visit the colourful market of Leh. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh
Buffet breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Shankar Gompa, Shanti Stup & Tsemo Castle (Victory Tower) with local English speaking monastery guide. Evening visit the colourful market of Leh. After the visit, you will return to the hotel. Overnight at  hotel.

Day 04: Leh sightseeing
After buffet breakfast at the hotel,  you will proceed toward Hemis around 45 km from Leh, En route visit Shey, & Thiksey monasteries. Shey was the old capital and the home of the kings of Ladakh before the new capital became established in Leh the palace sits in a strategic position on a spur jutting out into the Indus valley. Thiksey, this large Gompa is an impressive sight, situated on top of a craggy hill while the rest of the complex sprawls down beneath it. After the visit, you will return to the hotel. Overnight at  hotel.

Day 05: Leh - Lamayuru
After early buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to lamayuru enrout visit of village saspol, basgo & rizong Monastery. Then continue drive to lamayuru. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Lamayuru - Urshi : (3450 m) - 4-5 hrs trek
After breakfast start the trek, walk down to a stream and follow its bed east. After half an hour walk take a path that cuts uphill to some chortens and prayer flages the trail goes on er- arid land in a southerly direction following a stream bed often dry until it spilts. Walk up the botom of the small gully on the left until that also splits this time in three directions. Again take the left fork which winds steeply up to the prinkiti la (3770m). Cross the pass and descent till Urshi sets the tent for overnight stay.

Day 07: Urshi - Hinju : (3750 m) 5-6 hrs trek
After breakfast start the trek, head upstream on the right bank of the fanjila ( 3300m) the muddy river is your only water source for over two hours just before a group of houses. The trail to Alchi turns north-east up the ripchar valley, the main trail crosses the pipchare river. There are a few places to camp in the meadows below you. Overnight at tent.

Day 08: Hinju - Base of Chokila (4900 m) - 4-5 hrs terk

After breakfast at the tented camp, you will trek up the valley, crossing
several side stream and passing a few camp sites follow the main stream all the time. It is a strenuous climb to the top of this pass but you are rewarded with views all the way back to the prinkiti la.  Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 09: Base of Chokila/ Sumdah : (3900 m)/ 4-5 hrs trek
Breakfast at the tented camp. This isolated village shows few signs of change and the villagers are still largely self sufficient. There are two resident monks at the small gompa here which comes under the  jurisdictions of hemis. As you leave the village there is a ruined gompa far below. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 10: Sumdah - Another side of Stokpila (4959 m) 4-5 hrs
Breakfast at the tented camp. You will proceed to the route gradually up. Ascend a valley to the north -east of the village along the side if a small triburary, opposite some huts there is a small uneven flat area which is sometimes used as a base used the pass the going gets harder as you ascend a series of giant steps formed in a past glacial age. Whole of the likir to temisgan trek can be seen faid out beneath you to the north. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 11: B. o. Takpila -Alchi (3150m ) 4-5 hrs trek
After breakfast at the tented camp, we cross the large prosperous village carry on down the trail to road turn     
people come to alchi to see the unique
iconography of its famous lowlying gompa with plenty of accommodation available and its proximity of likir & suspole. Upon arrival, check-in to the guest house for overnight stay.

Day 12: Alchi - Basgo - Leh
Early morning after breakfast, proceed towards the famous monastery alchi this is choskor or religious enclave. It is one of the most important cultural sites in ladakh, built in the 11th century. It is a treasure trove of early Buddhist art in the Kashmiri tradition a style quite different from the Tibetan art found in ladakh's other monasteries. Alchi is one of the few remaining examples of that era. After visit continue drive to Leh, Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Leh - Delhi
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. In time, you will be transferred to the airport  to board your flight for Delhi (9W 610 Jet Airways, dep. 0735 hrs, arrival 0850 hrs) flight is non operational on Saturday’s.  Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to the international airport in time to board your flight back home.
