A unique journey that gives you the opportunity to explore one of India’s most famous and most beautiful national parks. The former hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur and one of India’s most important Project Tiger reserves, Ranthambore National Park covers an area of more than 1300 square kilometers and is home to the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, which the lucky visitor may glimpse in the rugged landscapes of the park.
Other cats such as leopard and caracal also inhabit the park, as do a rich variety of deer, antelope, and spectacular birdlife. Crocodiles often line the lake shores, and hyena, jackal, and the impressive Indian Python are amongst other species you might spot from your jeep safari.
Day 1:
Reach Sawaimadhopur and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2:
Rise early for a dawn game drive as this is one of the best times to see wildlife, including the often elusive tiger (please remember, a tiger sighting can not be guaranteed!). The game drive will take around four hours and we will return to the hotel for a late breakfast. Depart again at around 3pm for a late afternoon game drive of around three hours in duration.
Day 3:
